GAME 1
CANBERRA 123 defeated ILLAWARRA 54
The Hawks played a strong gunners side and whilst outclassed showed pleasing offensive improvement. After starting well we could not get a roll on into the second quarter. GAME 1
ILLAWARRA 71 defeated ALBURY 29
Great effort by the Hawks to start round 2 in a very positive fashion. With the score 26 to 15 to the Hawks at half time the boys took it up a notch in the second half and blew the Cougars off the court. Sam Benson had an outstanding game, rebounding, cutting the key and shooting, a real stand out performance. Adonis Taylor had a quite game for his standards but still managed to be top scorer with 15 points. Brandon McBey had a solid game bringing the ball up the court and dishing it out in the paint. Others to impress were Daniel Steele and Rhys Pryor. A great start to the weekend.

GAME 1
ILLAWARRA 67 defeated ALBURY 45
Our first game of round 2 and the boys were a little slow at the start of the first quarter but really clicked into gear with a 23 to 11 second quarter to lead at half time 36 to 25. This game was a much improved effort from round 1 with the whole team contributing to the win. The starting 5 got great support from the whole bench with Tom Searle 6 points and Hayden Vos 4 points making some nice baskets. Nic Bagaric top scored with 29 points assisted by Dayne Campbell 14 points and Mitch Naumovski 8 points. A good start to the weekend.
