WE’RE MOVING TO (SPORTSTG) THE BASKETBALL NETWORK

We’re moving to The Basketball Network…

To make sure we meet the growing needs of our customers and provide the latest technology, we’re in the process of moving to The Basketball Network (TBN).

TBN is a whole of sport technology solution which is power by SportsTG.

We are working with the TBN team to finalise our set-up, which includes the migration all of our historical membership data to our new platform, we expect a complete migration within the next week.

With the migration of data, security and the privacy of data were topmost in mind, all data associated to ‘The Basketball Network’ (FSP Manager Applications) resides exclusively in Australian data centres that are mainly based in Sydney.

TBN also ensures that we are compliant with the following:

  1. Basketball Australia’s Privacy Policy.
  2. Competition and Consumer Amendment (Payment Surcharges) Act 2016

SportsTG Pty Ltd (STG) powers the platform used by us to process online registrations. As such, STG also has a privacy policy HERE, which describes their practices in connection with information collected through their solution, noting that STG does not use any information collected by us, other than in providing services to the sport of basketball in Australia.

From the 1st of January 2018, the way you renew your registration with us will change and we will provide further instructions to our members when their renewal is due.

TBN is a game-wide commitment to modernise the sport of basketball and to become more efficient, Basketball Illawarra is excited about moving to TBN. It will not only improve the way we do business with you, but it will also make it easier for you to interact with us by being able to register and pay online, ending the days of filling out paper forms.
