Our Mini Hawks Program has the primary objective to provide a delightful introduction to the game while nurturing essential developmental skills. Not only do we focus on teaching fundamental basketball techniques, but we also prioritize the enhancement of fine and gross motor skills, as well as socialization abilities among the children.
Aussie Hoops (5-10yrs)
Gateway Ford Aussie Hoops is a junior program designed for children aged 5-10 to learn basketball in a fun, structured environment. The program aims to develop fundamental basketball skills, teamwork, and a love for the sport. It offers accessible entry points for all skill levels, ensuring inclusive participation.

We currently offer Girls Only Aussie Hoops at 8am on Saturdays at the Snakepit.
Next Gen Hawks (10-14yrs)
The Next Gen Hawks Program is the ideal place for 10-14 year old girls and boys to develop their basketball skills, build confidence, and have fun in a supportive environment. Designed for all skill levels — from beginners to experienced players — this one-hour session focuses on core fundamentals, coordination, and teamwork. Led by our skilled and passionate Next Gen Hawks coaches, the program offers the perfect balance of learning, fitness, and making new friends on the court.
